Information About On-Line Help for the NEWMDB

On Line Help for the NEWMDB is divided into subject areas. The title of the current subject is displayed in the NEWMDB Banner. Some subjects have multiple pages of Help information. To view the various pages, use the TOP PAGE, PREV and NEXT tabs in the Banner (the tabs also appear at the bottom of pages). The TOP PAGE tab will display the first page of the current Help topic.

To switch subjects, please click on the appropriate link in the Contents List. The current subject is highlighted in blue in the List and corresponds to the title displayed in the Banner.

Some Help pages contain links. Some of these are links to additional Help pages, including links to a Glossary (the top page of the Glossary is an On Line Help page). These links to additional Help pages are denoted by Green text, like the Glossary link in this paragraph. To return from a linked page, press the Back button on your browser.

Some links are to words and phrases that are defined within the Glossary. For example, the word storage is defined in the glossary and, therefore, it appears as red text on this Help page. Only the first occurrence of a glossary word or phrase is highlighted in red on a single Help page.

Other links are to pages where actions can be performed, such as entering information or accessing Reports. These links are denoted by Blue text, like the Reports link in this paragraph. To return from a linked page, press the Back button on your browser. Note, some links to action screens require login and can only be used by Authorized Users

Lines that end with ... indicate that more information is provided on additional pages (accessed using the NEXT tab).
